Classic Chamba Circuit

DAY 1 - Delhi

To arrive and check in the booked hotel. If time permitting to go for local tour of Delhi and visit the famous old streets of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi, Red Fort, famous temples, local posh markets for shopping etc. 

DAY 2 , 3 and 4 - Chamba

To check out and take early morning Express train to Pathankot 118 km for Chamba. On arrival to get transfer to the booked hotel and later , if time permitting to visit the famous Chowgan park ,  and enjoy walks. Later  or maybe in the 2nd and 3rd day to tour Bhuri Singh Museum, having display of fine rare artefacts and then to  Hari Rai temple , an ancient temple from the 11th century , to Laxmi Narain temple is renowned for its finely executed forms and then to Chamunda temple , an ancient temple on a vantage point giving panoramic view of Chamba town. Also, there are more places to see like the Rang Mahal, a palace showing blend of British colonial architectural styles and beautiful wall paintings. And a over 100 year old St.Andrew church , a dressed stone structure with lance windows.

DAY 5 , 6 and 7 - Dalhousie

After 3 nights stay in Chamba, to get transfer to Dalhousie 55 km and recommended stay is for another 3 nights. On arrival to check in the booked hotel. Later , if guests would like , could go and visit St. Francis Church built in 1863 , or to Panjpulla ,a pretty spot where water from natural sources flows , or to Kalatope  a famous picnic spot on the periphery of a wildlife sanctuary.

DAY 8 and 9 - Khajjiar

After staying for 3 nights in Dalhousie to move to Khajjiar 23 km, to stay 2 nights in the booked hotel. This picturesque destination, amidst dense Deodar forest  , a lake with a floating island at its centre , a golf course  and also guests could go for nature walks, bird watching and wildlife tours , making it a perfect holiday  in this mountain region !

After , Khajjiar , to get transfer to Pathankot to take train for Delhi.

DAY 10 - Delhi

Delhi – On arrival , to check in the booked hotel and rest of day at leisure to do own things.

Detailed itinerary would be given on request.

The prices would be based on 2 persons travelling together, depending on season to season, hotel categories varying from guests houses, home-stay to mid range, to high end boutique hotels, transports, guides ( optional ) , meal plans.

Prices would not include the costs of international flights to and from the destination. Airfares are on application.
