Bhutan-A week holiday tour

Day 01: Arrival Paro

On arrival at Paro airport , get the feel of cool , clean fresh air , to meet with our local tour executive who will assist for your hotel transfer. Rest of the day at leisure.
Night stay in Paro.

Day 2 : Paro

Day tour to the Watch tower, National museum, where guests get to see antique Thankha paintings, textiles, weapons. Later during the day to visit a few famous monasteries .
Night stay in  Paro.

Day 3 and 4 : Thimphu ( 65 km, about hour and half drive )

Thimpu, the modern capital of Bhutan , on arrival , to check in the booked hotel. Later to visit tourist places  like the National Library, Arts & Crafts School and Textile Museum, the Buddha Point,temples , local monasteries , local village and sightseeing point on hilltop to see fascinating view of Thimphu valley.
Night stay in Thimphu.

Day 5 : Punakha (  77 km  about 3 hours of drive northeast of Thimphu ).

Amidst snow-capped mountain peaks , Punakha being the capital of Bhutan until 1955 and  even today, it is the winter home of the central monk body. The Punakha Dzong houses many sacred artefacts and temples.

After check in the booked hotel guests to go for to see the highest standards of woodwork, the massive Kuenray, the Coronation Hall of all Bhutanese kings, the Dzongchung at the entrance to the dzong and the cantilever bridge over the Mochu that has been recently renovated.  
Night stay in Punakha.

Day 6 : Wangdi Phodrang ( 20 km , about 45 minutes drive )

Wangdi Phodrang or Wangdi , popularly known as is the last town in the west of Bhutan and then guests if want to continue , enter the central region Bhutan.On arrival to tour the bustling market, with splendid views over its own valley and Dzong.
Later to transfer to Paro and stay the night in the booked hotel.

Day 7 : Paro ( 50 km , about 2 hours of drive )

To check out and transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.
