On the outskirts of Jaipur in Rajasthan, sits the Elephant village. This is a shelter for working elephants who provide rides outside Amer Fort, and are cared for in this village for their welfare, health and safety.

You can get up close and personal with the elephants – they love to frolic and splash around in water and enjoy being rubbed down. You can also feed these gentle giants, or bathe them. Just being close to these amazing creatures is an unforgettable experience.
